Abhinav Sharma is a lens based artist working across film-making and photography based in London and Delhi. His documentary film work explores deeply personal narratives of inner conflicts, identity, and displacement. Through stories of people who challenge societal norms, his films examine internal and external cultural struggles and the complex, evolving relationship between individuals and the societies they inhabit.
Alongside this, his photographic practice centers on individualism and its manifestations in the real world, using naturally occurring imagery to evoke emotions of solitude and quiet introspection. He also has a keen interest in meaningful branded content across documentary, fashion and lifestyle.
